Forfar Dramatic Society - National Champions 1936 - The Cast
In 1936 Forfar Dramatic Society won the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) festival award for their production of 'The Dreamer' by Joe Corrie. The cast then went on to broadcast the play on the Scottish Home Service - a notable event for the town in those days. Production was by Catherine Hollingsworth, and the cast, as shown in the photo, were:
