Chiffon

Chiffon (aus dem frz., von arabisch schiff ‚durchsichtiger Stoff‘, ‚Gaze‘) ist ein feines, durchsichtiges Gewebe aus stark gedrehten Natur- oder Kunstseide-Kreppgarnen. Chiffon besitzt ein feines, unregelmäßiges Oberflächenbild und einen „sandigen“ Griff.
