the yarn is red heart (of course) and the pattern (or method) is from lucy. she has a wonderful tutorial for crocheting hexagons and joining them as you go.
meant to be a stash buster, i of course had to buy at least 7 more skeins of yarn to fill in w/colors i didn't have (ie: light shades, such as baby pink, blue, pale yellow, etc ....).
i am using a 5mm (H) hook and plan to block the finished blanket via steam.
