I removed the last version of this capture because I did some filthy work... this is totally re-edited and looks much better in my opinion.
This photo has been taken in Bavaria at the Ammersees north shore. The sun was setting on the right side of the capture and disappeared very quickly beneath some trees.. bad luck for me, because it would have been better if the sun was more southern ..
This composition with the jetty in the front is meant to be a guideline for your eyes and to lead them right into the image.
I've used the exposure blending method with two captures - one dark for the sky and one bright for the foreground - to creat this capture and worked with luminance masks and saturation masks.
I really hope you like this capture :) !!!
