Die Burg Landskron ist nordöstlich von Villach am westlichen Eingang zum Ossiacher Tauern auf der Hochebene von einem Felskegel , der 135 Meter über der Ebene erhebt sich befindet. Unterhalb der Burg rocken die Stadt St. Andrä liegt am westlichen Ende des Ossiacher Sees, nicht weit von den lokalen Teil Villach Landskron entfernt.
Das Schloss ist ein Raubvogel-Station, wo öffentliche Greifvogelshows in den Sommermonaten statt.
The Landskron Castle is located north-east of Villach, on the western entrance to the Ossiacher Tauern on the plateau of a rocky cone that rises 135 meters above the plain. Below the castle rock the town of St. Andrä is located at the western end of Lake Ossiach, not far from the local part Villach Landskron.
The castle is a bird of prey station where public birds of prey shows are held during the summer months.
