Tennessee Warbler series (#3 of 4)

Tennessee Warbler (Oreothlypis peregrina) in my backyard in mid May during migration.

One wet day, several of these warblers were feeding in a blue beech that hangs out over my patio. It was quite dark, so for three of these shots, I was using ISO 3200 just to get a somewhat reasonable shutter speed. The birds were quite acrobatic, often stretching and hanging to pick insects from the developing seed clusters that hang from the ends of the branches. Due to the wetness on the leaves, their feathers were a bit soaked, especially on the tops of their heads. I shot these photos from an open window in our dining room.
