Sharp-tailed Grouse -- Tympanuchus phasianellus

Switzer Ranch near Burwell, Nebraska. I went on a Road Scholar trip with two of my former work colleagues (also retired). The focus of the trip was on sandhill cranes, greater prairie chickens and sharp-tailed grouse with other birds a secondary focus of the trip.
