After attending the Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Smoky Mountains, I spent a day with Flickr friend Jim Fowler visiting sites in the mountains of upstate South Carolina. It was a long, but very fruitful and enjoyable day. In viewing his Flickr site and his blog since my return home, I see that Jim took many more photos of many more wildflowers than I did, and splendid shots at that!! Your home state is a gem.
