Bringing up the rear of the seven unit set is U. S. Steel F7A 724A. It was built in 1952 as Bessemer & Lake Erie 724A. It was transferred to U. S. Steel in the 1970s. 724A was retired in the mid-1980s and sold to Texas Southern circa 1987. In 1990, it was sold to Transcisco and became Trancisco 102. In 1993, it was sold to Washington Central and used on their Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. In the early 2000s, 102 was sold to the Carrizo Gorge Railway and currently sits in storage at Jacumba, CA.
