Drowning In Memories...
Hamnøy, Moskenes, Norland County, Lofoten Island, Norway.
The small fishing village of Hamnøy is the most pittoresque village I have ever seen.
Visible in the foreground is a traditional type of seasonal houses used by fishermen, called Rorbuer. Today these houses are – renovated or new – mostly rented to tourists. Visible in the background is the mountain Festhæltinden, which rises about 389 metres (1276.3 feet) above sea level.
