A celebrated visitor from the Southeast, wearing tuxedo dress paying homage to the Southern-controlled Savannah & Atlanta Railroad, finds itself in unfamiliar territory on former Q rails in Illinois heading up BNSF freight train H NSINTW1 06A recently interchanged off the NS in Chicago and framed along the platform of the Stone Avenue Metra station--the most prominent and iconic fixture of La Grange's West End since its stone arches were erected by the Q at the start of the 20th Century.
