Nomad of Mid-America
Nowhereville
The crew has spotted nary a trace of life since the tracks split away from the parallel state highway eightish miles prior east at Rice. Going just off a hunch, I'd say that it is likely that trend will continue for the remaining two-plus hours of their trip to the BNSF interchange at Cadiz, CA (well, just don't pay any attention to the 6Ds pointed at the train, of course). Such is life working Arizona & California's daily Cadiz Turn, enduring a lonesome trek eating up the worthless miles 25 times for the passage of every hour, dragging tonnage across the flatness of the Mojave Desert behind an assortment of 40 and 45 exteriors in a mixture of liveries both current and former, coming just a few miles east of Absolute Middle of Nothing, CA, where they are seen in this view.
