This particular helicopter was manufactured in 1969 and served with 191st Assault Helicopter Company during the Vietnam War with over 1200 combat flight hours. The 191st was nicknamed the "Boomerangs" because boomerangs always come home. Considered to be the most widely used helicopter in the world, with more than 9,000 produced from the 1950s to the present, the Huey is flown today by about 40 countries.
