Jonathan utilizes handicap accessible rails to climb the steps to his apartment as he often struggles with depth perception issues and vertigo as a result of Goucher. Here his “hump” or large rib cage in front and back can be seen. This was done surgically to make room for his internal organs, as his organs outgrew the capacity of his bones.
