Coming Storm

A friend and I decided to take an afternoon hike in Henry W. Coe State Park south of San Jose, California. Some stormy weather started to build later in the afternoon, offering gorgeous light on the nearby trees, and forbidding dark clouds behind.

 

I took this picture many years ago, using a Nikon 8008s and Fuji Velvia film, thus I had to ration the number of photos I could take.
