Female Kingfisher

Managed to get a pic of a female Kingfisher in pretty poor light on Saturday morning. Then waited and waited for her to come back as the sun came out, the shadows started to recede and the light started to got better and better.

 

She didn't bother though as she was just around the corner sunning herself (in full sun), just out of reach of decent shots, as you can see below
