So, this shot deserves a little bit more explanation. I've driven most of the recent supercars, a like this (Gemballa tuned) 12C Spider. But in Germany I drove the McLaren MP4-12C Spider for the first time. Great car but it does leave me baffled.
It lacks so much, no sound, no emotion, no lunacy.
Still, the way the car feels has no comparison, the way it delivers power is incredible but most of all, it gives you the proper feeling of being a racing driver.
You can place the car inch perfect, the view around is impecable and the ergonomics are excellent. It leaves you wondering, when you are in the market for a supercar (and it isn't your 3th, 4th, or more) why choose a Lamborghini or Ferrari!?
Also, I really, really like the way Gemballa is heading. They have become a serious car tuner which look at all of the aspects when creating a bespoke vehicle. Of course, they test their optic modifications at a windtunnel, and do all the testing before signing off on a project.
