SMS Konigsberg passes by some curious natives
Fighting her war in German East Africa she claimed the German navy's first victory by sinking the SS City of Winchester, she was also responible for the sinking of HMS Pegasus. Trapped by the British in July 1915 she was engaged and sunk by HMS Severn and HMS Mersey. Her story did not end threre though as her guns were quickly salvaged by the Germans and used by her East African Army.
