Hundreds of teachers and other educational employees came out on Aug. 27, 2014 even after the emergency manager over DPS, Jack Martin, withdrew a decree imposing a further 10% pay cut and larger class sizes on teachers and school employees. The DFT pledged to mobilize for the annual Labor Day march downtown.
