Calico Pennant Dragonfly, male
I went back to the State Park to see if I could find the wonderful dragonfly that I saw there a few days ago. I didn't find it, but I found a reddish looking dragonfly and made photos of it. I was delighted to learn that it was a male Calico Pennant Dragonfly. The ID was made easier after my friend, Tina, found that the first dragonfly I'd discovered was a female Calico Pennant Dragonfly. I love the heart-shaped markings!
