Concept Weber Mandolins

Concept for Folk of the Wood Mandolin Catalog. This image is multi layered. At the lowest layer, an image of a Weber Mandolin's soundhole showing the "sticker" text. A second layer is added with a closeup of the tail piece. The opacity is dropped down to make it transparent allowing the "sticker" to be seen. Clipping paths of the peg head and Mandolin body are added. Guides are added to define the margins of the pages. A selection is then made of the margins and a new layer is added with the selection filled with white. The opacity is lowered and layer effects are added to make the image "pop" off the page. These white boxes are for the descriptions of the instruments on the left page and the right page is for a description of Weber. The ovoids are added for each instrument. A clipping path of each instrument is placed over the ovaids. Finally the title for the page is added in text. This concept is 17x11 with full bleeds (not shown). A background was added to get the image for display at 16x9.
