The Wezzy
HK MPX-50
This compact, rugged, full-auto only PDW is based on the popular MP5 platform. Firing 9mm rounds out of an extended 40-rnd MP5-esque magazine, the MPX-50 has several unique features.
Code: pastie.org/1171626
First, the magazine catch is located at bottom of mags so that the release can be located at the bottom of the grip- on the magazine guide. This makes it easier for the average right handed person to release the mag and remove it in one easy motion, given that the pistol grip and guide are located where a traditional MP5's magazine would be held when swapped.
Second, the safety mechanism, which is behind the pistol grip on the bottom of the receiver. When on safe it is angled down into the thumb area of behind the pistol grip, making it difficult for the gun to be grasped. It must be snapped flush with the gun to fire.
The charging handle, which does not recoil when the gun is fired, has been relocated to the top of the receiver for ease of charging.
Example 2 is shown with a foregrip with integrated flashlight and experimental infrared optic, which slides around a post on the top of the receiver behind the rail, and locks onto the rail via spring loaded studs on the sight's underside.
This gun is a remake- my interpretation of DethKlaus' ridiculously sexy MPX-48 Paramilitary, found here:
