Die Box - TH4

The magician shows a black wooden box with some Chinese-looking artwork on the outside. Inside the box is a large wooden die. The magician removes the die and puts it into a hat. He then describes the box and how the trick is going to work. If he puts the die in one side when it is facing him, when he turns the box towards the audience, it will appear to be on the other side. Then the magician retrieves the die from the hat and places it in one side of the box, closes both doors and turns it towards the audience. Just as rehearsed with the audience, he asks which side the die is on. When they guess where is should be, the magician not-so-subtly tilts the box and the die can be heard sliding to the other side. The magician opens the side the audience said and shows the die is not there. He asks another person, when they say the other side, again he tilts the box, then opens the door, showing it empty. More interplay is done with the audience, the magician apparently slips and reveals the die inside the box, only to ultimately show that it has completed vanished from inside the box, both doors are open. The die is then produced from the hat.
