I heard this group for the first time during the Flower and Garden Festival and absolutely loved them...!! They put on quite a fun show and they obviously enjoy what they're doing...
I was with a guy who's family knows the group members pretty well so at one point we had gone down on the side with a manager's permission and we were just standing there waiting to catch up at the end of the show. In the mean time, he was chattin it up with managers when I looked over and saw this... I liked the viewpoint and thought it would make for a different shot than you normally see from these concerts so I propped my little self up there on the nearby trash can and started snappin... Liked this one the best from all those shots because of the addition of the "human element" with the audience included...
Such a fun group...!!
I do have some really good ones of him and Stephanie singing together but am holding onto those until I get the rest of them processed...
...just got to see this band again last night and I think I got some good pictures but time will tell as I get little bits of processing opportunity throughout... Until then, here's one from the Flower & Garden festival. I have to admit, last night was a fun challenge - the EPCOT Lighting and Disney Event Group crew were on their game!! The stage looked awesome and the lighting was phenomenal - problem is, I have never shot with that kind of serious concert lighting before so I was struggling for a little while but I think I managed to get a few good ones.
On the other hand - I probably won't ever go to the Food & Wine Festival again on the weekend... I had my nice camera with me and I was so worried about it the entire time that I couldn't even enjoy myself... The park was completely packed out and in some places, it was crawling pace only. I was constantly concerned that someone was going to spill their drink on my camera - let alone, all over me. Think I'll go during the week from now on - I still want to try some of the food and would enjoy shooting some of the other concerts but I'm just not built for intensity of that kind... Maybe I'll take the opportunity to check out the Universal City Walk for once and see what's over there. =D
