First astrophotography shot with telescope
I bought a telescope at the local thrift shop a few days ago. It has a computerized base which is what I was looking for. I purchased an adapter so I could attach my camera to the scope. I haven't used a telescope in 20 years so it was a challenge getting it aligned -a little more detailed than the sky tracker/sky guider system but it tracks beautifully. This was my first test shot of the moon with the new setup. I will do another one of the full moon in a few days. I'm really looking forward to the summer when the nebulas and galaxies will be waiting for me!
