Close up shot of what I believe to be Nodding Stickseed. Even though any kind of bur is an annoying plant, you have to hand it to Mother Nature's ingenuity. After all, without burs, there would have been no inspiration for Velcro and the world would still be solely relying on buttons and laces! :)
