Keystone Bridge at Ramsay Michigan (Looking South)
This Keystone Bridge was constructed in 1891 by Chicago and Northwest Railroad to carry mining and logging materials across the Black River. The bridge, built on a solid rock foundation without mortar, is 45 feet long, 44 feet wide, 57 feet high, with 50 foot walls. The Keystone Bridge bridge carried mining and logging materials across the Black River. Millions of tons of freight passed over the arch bridge but it is still structurally sound but is no longer used.
