JET Tokamak ( side view )

by now most of you know that I work in Nuclear Fusion research.

More specifically, we do experiments with a big doughnut-shaped machine called Tokamak.

This is the JET tokamak, the largest of such machines in the world and located in the UK.

My PR department is trying to convince me to build a minifigure-scale versioon of it but I din't have a) enough bricks, b) the detailed drawings and c) the time.

So I've done this microscale version.

And, yes, it IS really orange. Google it and you'll see.

by the way, if you have questions about Fusion send them to @fusionenergy for our Twitter Q&A on Wednesday 18/9/2013 at 2pm Uk time: #askFusion
