Quilt for Renee

Made with the low volume charms from the SDMQG swap plus some from my stash, a variety of colorful 2-1/2" strips for the pluses, Free Spirit Lime for the binding, and a pink stripe flannel I bought at Quilt in a Day. The quilt is for a coworker that was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Hopefully this will comfort her during her chemo treatments.

I quilted it with wavy lines and tried free motion quilting some random words. I also included a quote she had on her Pinterest board for coping with cancer "wake up, kick ass, repeat".

Pieced and quilted with Aurifil thread. 53" x 64" after washing.
