I interrupt my posting of photos from my 8/12/11 trip to Lynchburg, to post these three photos of the heavy cloud cover from the outskirts of approaching Hurricane Irene on 8/26, 2011 at 6:45 PM at my house. The wind is blowing steady from the East at 20MPH. It has not yet begun to rain.
