Closed Wings of Buckeye

This is a Common Buckeye (Junonia coenia),and true to it's name, has been found fairly commonly this year from Mackinaw City (where these pics were taken) to various sites in SE Michigan (where I live). As with most butterflies, the upper and lower surfaces of their wings show different colors and patterns.
