Foxy Posing

Eastern Fox Squirrels are the largest of the squirrels found in Michigan. When we moved to our house (many years ago) we saw only Fox Squirrels in this area. Now, they have been replaced by smaller gray (and black) squirrels that seem to be faster and more acrobatic than fox squirrels.

 

Fox Squirrels are still seen in more forested areas, like this one at Lake St Clair Metropark, Michigan.
