Not Everyone's Favorite Bird
In the fall, they come in noisy hordes.
Their song is a monotonous, repetitious, constant squeak/squeal.
They aggressively push out songbirds at the feeders.
But, their iridescent feathers and spotted breast are beautiful in their Spring plumage. When there's only one of them, that is. :-)
