UT Center for Visual Arts: "LOOK UP"
Odd-shaped, and with unusual building materials, the University of Toledo Center for Visual Arts contrasts sharply with the adjacent Neo-classical design of the Toledo Museum of Art.
Darkly-oxidized metal shingles coat the outside of the front of the building, (which, to me, make it appear to be a derelict building). The rear of the building are walls of green glass. A sign on the green glass, for some unknown reason, directs viewers to "Look Up."
Designed by prize-winning architect Frank O. Gehry.
(Please see first comment below for the another view of the Center).
