Long-legged Limpkin
Honestly, they have very long legs! So he must be wading in fairly deep water. They eat mainly Apple Snails and freshwater clams. Once hunted nearly to exptirpation in Florida in the early 1900s, Limpkins have rebounded due to Federal laws and the establishment of sanctuaries/refuges. Hopefully, these will not be undone by the current Administration.
