Great Southern White

Butterflies in February, warm sunshine, bright days, short sleeves and shorts...the reasons that Florida calls to a "snow bird" from the North. ; -)

 

Then, add to the mix the friendship of a Flickr contact and his wife (Paul and Angela) who have become wonderful Florida friends, and February becomes a favorite month.

 

This is a Great Southern White butterfly (Ascia monuste), seen on the Black Point Wildlife Drive, Merritt Island NWR, Florida.

Done
