EAT!
When looking for restaurants while traveling, my wife and I like to find small family-owned businesses where the locals eat. "Vinny's Stock Pot" in Bay City, Michigan fits that bill.
As you can see in the picture, the floors are shiny, the counter is shiny, the stools and cooler are shiny, even Betty Boop (the statue on the counter) and the ceiling are shiny. The Stock Pot is CLEAN, which is my primary concern when eating at a restaurant.
Nearly everyone seemed to know the restaurant staff, and the servers knew them. "Eat", reads the admonition above the counter, and that's exactly what we did : )
