Yellow Honeysuckle at Kensington

The birds were busy elsewhere on a recent trip to Kensington Metropark, Michigan. I became aware of the overwhelming, intoxicatingly-sweet perfume of the overgrown Honeysuckle shrubs that lined the trails and filled the understory of the woods. I'd never seen so many species/varieties of Honeysuckle. For once I was happy not to be chasing birds : )

(This one may not be a native species)
