CONFRONTATION!
Eight turtles were on a log, basking in the sun at Six Mile Cypress Preserve, Fort Myers, Florida. When the bright colored turtle approached, these "baskers" raised their heads, and the newcomer stretched it's neck in response. Eventually, they all settled back down in the warming sun.
The dark turtles are Common Florida Cooters, and the bright one is a Florida Redbelly..
