It's Monday
Monday appeared to be "wash day" in Intercourse, Pennsylvania as many outdoor lines of clothes were seen waving in the breeze. This picture shows typical clothing that might be worn by an Amish family.
I recall "wash day" when I was a child. It was an all-day affair for my grandmother and mother. They hung the clothes in the sun to dry, and hoisted the lines with long, slotted poles to prevent the lines from sagging. Today, it's "throw it in the dryer with a fabric softener strip."
