Romance on the Southwest Reservoir Bridge

The Southwest Reservoir Bridge was built by Calvert Vaux in 1864. It was taken apart, repaired and reconstructed in 1979. Located on a park path at the 86th street area of Central Park, this arch bridge was constructed of cast iron and steel.

This cute couple saw me waiting for the bridge to clear, readying my camera, and they turned to give me a nice smile.

Central Park is a large park (843 acres, 3.41 sq, km) in midtown Manhattan. Established in 1857, it was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (American) and Calvert Vaux (English). Central Park, visited by over 37.5 million people annually, offers almost every type of outdoor activity.
