A bridge over colored waters

The Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge, one of the beautifully illuminated spans crossing the Cumberland River near the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Officially known as the Gateway Bridge, it was opened on 19 May 2004, and is 1,660 feet (510 m) in length. In this one, I thought I'd bring in the superstructure of what I think is an old boat loading apparatus. The city has incorporated it into Cumberland Park, and has installed a catwalk throughout, the end of which can be seen in the center-left. I got a number of good shots with a different angle from standing up there, as well, and a couple of them will likely make an appearance on here once I get a chance to sit down and go through everything. This shot is basically straight out of the camera -- just added the watermark. A 30-second exposure with the 20mm F/1.7 lens on my Olympus OM-D.

Thanks very much for stopping by, everyone, and for your comments, faves, and notes. I appreciate it very much. Have a great weekend!
