Hawaiian Dawn
Just before sunrise at the black rocks of the southeast tip of the island of O‘ahu, in the US state of Hawai‘i. This is just to the east of Sandy Beach. My first shot of what will likely be several from this shoot. Not HDR. One shot on my OM-D, exposed for the highlights, with a little bit of work in Photomatix and PSE to bring up the shadows on the ocean and maintain the color in the sky. And that slight curve on the horizon is not barrel distortion -- it's Moloka‘i.
