Yosemite beauties with a visitor

Alpine Asters (Aster alpinus) in a meadow at about 7,300 feet of elevation along Glacier Point road. It has been an unbelievably dry year, but up here in the Red Fir forest belt, the wildflowers are still doing quite well.
