Paris Through the Hands of Time

Looking northeast from the Musée d'Orsay, across the Tuileries Gardens, the buildings lining the Rue de Rivoli, and beyond to Palais Garnier (the Opéra), Montmartre, and Sacré-Coeur. The title is in reference not only to the different periods of historical construction visible in the image, but also to the fact that I actually took this shot through the face of the clock window in the museum's Café Campana.

Thanks very much for stopping by. I hope time is as kind to you and yours as it has been to the remarkable City of Light.
