The Flanks of Mount Florence

The Yosemite high country, as seen from Glacier Point, looking up the Giant Stairway past Little Yosemite Valley. Mount Florence (12,567 ft [3,830 m]) is prominent at center, immediately flanked by partial views of the summits of Mount Maclure (left) and Mount Lyell (right, at 13,114 ft [3,997 m], the highest peak in the park). Rodgers Peak is at the far right, and Simmons Peak is the far left. Note the exfoliating granite arches at the front left of the image – that is Bunnell Point Cliff.

Thanks very much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, wherever in the world you might be.
