Punch Bowl Falls in Summer

This oft-photographed spot along the Eagle Creek trail in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge is typically shown as as if it were some sort of secluded place, far off the beaten path. In summer, however, especially on hot afternoons, it is anything but – transforming into one of the most popular swimming holes for people from Portland and all up and down the Gorge.
