Mount Hood Springtime Orchards

The snow-capped peak of Mount Hood (11,249 ft – 3,429 m) looks down on the fruit trees of the east side of the Hood River Valley, in the deep green of late spring. The house I grew up in is visible in the distance, as well as the ski area where I learned to ski. I miss those trees and that mountain.

Thanks very much for stopping by, and for all the kind comments and favorites. They are greatly appreciated.
