Blue Hour in the Eternal City

The Colosseum, or Flavian Amphitheatre, in Rome, seen through the light trails of a long exposure across the traffic of the Piazza del Colosseo. By bringing these two very different elements together, I was trying to emphasize the contrast between the ancient and modern worlds that is so much a part of everyday life in the "Eternal City."
