Clearwater Green

Clearwater Falls, deep in the temperate rainforest of the North Umpqua River watershed, in the Cascade Range of southern Oregon. The biggest challenge with this shot was not in the shot itself, but rather in getting the glowing, almost iridescent greens accurately represented in a digital image for the web. The sRGB colorspace just can't quite handle what the Pacific Northwest throws at it.
